I almost can't bare to not start my day with a green smoothie - they are just like instant liquid health! If you haven't given them ago, I really encourage you to do so...you won't regret it. I think when you are a beginner at green smoothies, a good way to get started is to keep them mainly fruit based, with 1-2 servings of fruit and just 1-2 servings over vegetables. As you taste buds adapt to the vegetable component, you can get more adventurous with what/the amount you add. Here is the recipe for one of my 'go to' green smoothies!

1/2 cup of mango (frozen or fresh)

1 banana

20g grams of cucumber

2 handfuls of spinach

2 tsp of ripe avocado

3-4 Mint leaves

1 scoop of vegan protein (optional)

1 tsp of supergreens powder (optional)

1 cup of water

A few ice cubes

Blend together and serve immediately!
